Happy Four Months little guy! You were introduced to rice cereal and some carrots this week (you didn't quite know what to do with the new experience). You are giggly and talkative, and you've finally (at least I think) found your hands. I noticed your thumb in your mouth today for a few seconds...could we have another thumb sucker on our hands? No rolling from you yet, but you are definitely pushing yourself up when on your belly. You are getting cuter by the day!
Love,
Mommy
*You weigh 13lb 13 oz and are 25 1/2" long
Beckett is three months old today! It's amazing how fast time flies by - in a blink he'll be one. Part of me wants it to go by fast (because, let's face it, babies are tough), but another part of me wants to cherish all this "baby-ness" because it's our last one (and b/c it goes by so fast). He's very alert now - smiling all the time, "talking" and pretty much sleeping through the night (one quick night feeding). In four weeks we'll start him on rice cereal!
*5/13 - He weighs 12 lbs., 4oz.!

Beckett only woke up once last night! I figured it was going to be a rough night considering the little blob was a crankasaurus right up until he fell asleep (which was a little before 10 pm). Thankfully he woke up around 1:30 am and after a quick feeding fell back asleep until 6 am!
Woo hoo!

9 Weeks
A time honored K-Sea kid tradition was passed on today. Today marked the first Father-Beckett nap. Wendy took Will and Mina to see Joelle's play so I grabbed Beckett and laid down for a nap. To me there are few things better then a quick nap on a Saturday afternoon. I managed to grab a photo of the special moment... he even gave me a sleep smile. The best part of the nap is we have awaken to unsuspected beautiful weather.
Today Beckett is two months old! He weighs 10 lbs. 7.5 oz., 23" long and sleeps anywhere from 3 to 4 hour stretches at night. He's very smiley now and will turn his head in the direction of a voice.
Happy Two Months Little Guy!!

The little fella is 7 weeks old. I added some pictures to the web album. Find it here
I was going through my iPhoto library in an effort to delete some pictures. I have a bad habit of keeping every photo we've ever taken even if there are 10 of the same. My HD is getting very full. I came across a bunch of pictures I wanted to share. These pictures are of various family members holding Beckett. Sadly of the thousands of pictures I have I don't have any pictures of the "little guy" with his mom and dad. I'll work on that.

Wow! Well it's over, and Beckett and I are now home. It's been quite a ride to say the least. Shaun did a great job keeping everyone updated as to the events leading up to Beckett's arrival (that's what I get for marrying a gadget guy). Reflecting back on the day of Beckett's birth, it seems like it took forever and yet when we got to the hospital he was in my arms in an instant. I was so honored to have Erin there to share the experience. I'm sure she felt helpless at times, but her presence was comforting. She did an awesome job manning the fan for me. I couldn't have asked for a better fan partner. And Shaun........he was awesome - a tower of strength for me to hold on to (figuratively and literally speaking).
So now it's time to get caught on sleep (yeah right) and get us all into a routine. I have an amazing family - a super husband, great son and beautiful step-daughters. And now Beckett.
Life is Good!

We are going over to York hospital for a check-up. If all looks good we will most likely stay there until the birth. Hopefully I will still be able to send updates from my phone, it depends on coverage and rules at the hospital.
