Warm weather coming?

My bet is that this forecast wont play out this way.  Yesterday this same graphic showed temps in the 70's.  Like Dirt said to me the other day.  "I'll know the warmer weather will come after it rains for 3 weeks".

My forecast is that the week will feature temps in the 48-52 degree range with an on shore breeze that will make it feel like 40.  Sorry to be so pessimistic.  This time of year never forecasts well.

HONK-Opening Night

Tonight is opening night of HONK at the Seacoast Rep.  This is Joelle's second play.  Last summer she was in the King and I at the Ogunquit Playhouse.  Break a leg Joelle!  We are very proud of you.

I just realized that I have opening night jitters.......

REAL MEN WEAR CAPES

I came home today after visiting Erin (aka Auntie Camera) to find my husband ensconced in a blanket fashioned into a cape. I didn’t think too much of it until we started to get into a discussion and found that I just couldn’t stop looking at his man-cape. After a good giggle, he pronounced with great gayness that he really enjoyed his cape and thought it was very practical. Unfortunately he wouldn’t let me take his picture, but I will give you the visual:

Adult male, almost 40, six feet something inches (3?), strapping, handsome (I’ll throw that in for points) with a black fuzzy blanket tied around his neck.

Let the record show I did say “adult.”

Just Lunchin'

Not enough time to get to Flo's as planned.  Chicken, Edamame  and Watermelon did the trick for the kids.  Dsc_0005

Americas Best Hot Dog

The WSJ had an article about the search for Americas Best Hot Dog.  One of their fav's was this beauty from Speed's in Boston.  The secret is the dog is marinated in apple cider and brown sugar then cooked over charcoal.  Wendy is writing in protest of the WSJ's unforgivable omission of even a mention of Flo's Hot Dogs.
